Standards of practice

  • The Equity Council Committee, a standing committee of the Fayette County Board of Education, approved this “standards of practice” agreement by unanimous vote on May 17, 2016. This document outlines 14 agreements drafted during a retreat with Superintendent Manny Caulk, school board Chairwoman Melissa Bacon, and board member Daryl Love.

The Equity Council generally gathers at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday unless there's a conflict like Election Day or Spring Break. The meetings are in conference room C of "It's About Kids" Support Services, 701 E. Main St. They are televised live on cable Channel 13 and are available through Video on Demand.
