At each month's school board action meeting, we honor students and employees who have received outstanding honors or placed highly in state or national competitions.

The board meetings generally start at 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday in Norsworthy Auditorium in the "It's About Kids" Support Services main administration building.

Honorees are announced at the beginning of the meeting, receive medals or other keepsakes, and shake hands with the superintendent and school board members. In addition, their photos are posted in the main hallway for the following month.
