At each month's school board action meeting, we honor outstanding students and employees who placed first or second in state or national competitions.

The board meetings generally start at 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday in Norsworthy Auditorium in the IAKSS main administration building.

Honorees are announced at the beginning of the meeting, receive medals or plaques, and shake hands with the superintendent and school board members. In addition, their photos and honors are posted in the main IAKSS hallway for the following month.
