School menus

Current offerings:

Note: For diabetics and others watching carbohydrates, the grams are now noted beside each item on the breakfast and lunch menus for elementary and middle schools.  

Meal patterns:

Breakfast:
  • Fluid milk, 1/2 pint (1 cup)
  • Fruit / vegetable / juice, 1/2 cup

Select one serving from each of the following components or two servings from one component:

  • Breads / grains, 1 slice (1 oz.)
  • Meat / meat alternative, 1 ounce
Lunch:
  • Fluid milk, 1/2 pint (1 cup)
  • Fruit / vegetables (2 or more servings), 3/4 to 1 cup
  • Breads / grains, 8 to 10 1-ounce servings per week
  • Meat / meat alternative, 2 ounces
After-school snack:

Select two items from the following components:

  • Fluid milk, 1/2 pint (1 cup)
  • Juice / fruit or vegetable, 3/4 cup (6 fl. oz.)
  • Breads/ grains, 1 ounce
  • Meat / meat alternative, 1 ounce
