Career and Technical Education
Our office coordinates all technical programs throughout the district for grades 6-12 (including Southside and Eastside Technical Centers). We handle career assessments within the school and supervise work-based learning, which includes co-op, mentoring, job shadowing and clinical experiences. This involves serving as a liaison between the school and the business community, relating school curriculum to technical opportunities, and developing partnerships for schools and businesses and future employment possibilities.
